Why do so many people believe the hype about K&N Filters and cold air intakes. They do not do anything for performance the filters do not flow any better than a wix paper filter and you still have to spend as much money to clean them as it would cost to buy a new paper filter. and every car made in the lst 20 years already has a air duct going to outside the car so they get fresh outside air. The only thing that you gain by buying cold air intake is a more empty wallet. And the they make your car sound like it has a vacuum leak with all the hissing
I have known many mechanics and not one of them would ever suggest a K&N filter or a cold air intake
did you ever think the reason that the K&N doesn’t clog up so fast is because it lets more dirt in the engine instead of acctually filtering the dirt out
