Why will my drier not dry my clothes even though it gets really hot?

it seems to just as hot as it use to when it was working but it just doesnt really dry my clothes. it takes three cycles just to get my clothes dry now. when i feel the air duct on the side of the house its really hot and has strong air flow, i even clean out that lint filter all the time but its just not drying my clothes right
